Privacy
How Forbidden America handles reader data, cookies, advertising, and third-party services.
Current private preview
The current preview does not activate advertising, analytics, newsletter submission, purchases, accounts, or contact-form delivery.
Advertising cookies
If advertising is activated, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google’s advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on a reader’s visits to this and other sites.
Readers may control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and can learn how Google uses information from partner sites.
Consent and regional rights
Before ads activate, the site will use a Google-certified consent management platform where required, including for readers in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Readers will be able to make and revisit consent choices.
Data minimization
Forbidden America will not send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying account information to Google through ad requests. Advertising will not be personalized from sensitive categories controlled by the publication.
Contact
A verified privacy contact address and policy effective date must be added before public advertising begins.
